- You can’t ride Open Novice if you finished top three overall at Amateur Nationals in any class with 19″ wheels or at any of our previous events in Open Novice or another class with 19″ wheels
- If you finish on the podium in Open Novice at one of our events, you get bumped up the following season

Premier Expert:
- Pro Licensed Riders Only or riders turning professional that season when they turn 16 years old.
- Open CC limit
- If you ride this class, the only other class you can ride at our events is Open Expert
- Dunlop DT4 Spec Tire (Any compound permitted)
- Can not cut or tractionize tire
- You may rasp tire with handheld device. (“Dale, No Power Tools!”) Final determination will be made from technical director.
- Can not add fluid in tire or wheel
- No liners, cut up tires, extra tubes or ANY ballasts for added weight may be used (Only thing allowed inside the tire is a rim strip and a single tube)
- Lowery Racing bolt on weight assemblies used on Lowery compatible wheel bodies are approved
- You can run a heavy wheel, but can not exceed 43lbs. Wheel will be weighed as it comes off race track. You can wipe off dirt or debris before being weighed.
- Penalty for wheel infraction will be DQ for heat, semi or main event. If infraction found during qualifying, rider will be DQed for all qualifying sessions.
Open Expert:
- Pro Licensed Riders Only or riders turning professional that season when they turn 16 years old.

- If you ride this class, the only other class you can ride at our events is Premier Expert

King of throwdown rules
-Licensed AFT riders, former AFT riders (with approval from race director), exceptionally fast amateur riders who are turning professional that calendar year (with approval from race director), or professional riders from other race series (with approval from race director).
-Motorcycles allowed are 250cc and up
-Two rounds of practice
-Two rounds of qualifying with transponders
-Qualifying groups will be ten riders each
-Top 20 riders in qualifying will be seeded #1 through #20
-Four preliminary battles
(#17 vs #16: Winner advances against seed #1 first round)
(#13 vs #20: Winner advances against seed #4 first round)
(#19 vs #14: Winner advances against seed #3 first round)
(#15 vs #18: Winner advances against seed #2 first round)
-Best out of three format
-Three lap races
-Top seed will pick first starting spot in the first race, lower seed will pick first starting spot in race two. If the battle needs to go to a third race, the top seed will pick first starting spot
-If a rider crashes, that race is checkered flag and the crashed rider will lose that single race. If bike repairs need done, you will have two minutes when you get back to the hot box. All incidents are subject to review by race officials. If a crash is deemed as a “take out”, the race could be restarted. Keep in mind, this is professional level racing. Soft contact or racing incidents happen.
-You are allowed to switch bikes whenever you choose prior to each round throughout the entire program, just let our crew know prior to going out for your race. You may not switch bikes during a round.
